Corona Virus Probable Root Cause

Currently I am working on a recovery plan for an international organisation whose China office has been paralysed by the Corona Virus.

There have been multiple conspiracy theories about a leak from the Chinese Military secret bio-weapons lab etc… as well as accusations against the Wuhan animal marketers and their unhygienic practices.

Given the proximity of the two organisations and the relatively short distance between them, I suspect it to be more likely that someone within the lab, sold lab rats and other specimens to persons within the market to be traded.

Perhaps less likely, the lab didn’t incinerate the dead animals and put them out with the garbage, only for them to be taken and traded in the same way…
