Drug Awareness in Construction: Basics for Safety

This introductory course is designed for those in or entering the construction industry, focusing on the risks of drug use in this demanding field. It comprises four modules – Stimulants, Depressants, Hallucinogens, and Marijuana – which can be completed individually or as a full programme.

Each module concludes with a multiple choice test, and participants earn a certificate upon completion. This certificate can be used during job applications to showcase awareness of drug-related risks and a commitment to safety.

Workplace Substance Abuse:
Drugs Management for Leaders

These courses are designed to help managers address drug-related challenges in the workplace. With drug abuse becoming increasingly common in society, and by extension, organisations, leaders must go beyond enforcing no-drugs policies to recognising signs of misuse, investigating incidents, and managing the associated risks and impacts.

The courses cover a range of substances now prevalent in society, equipping managers with the knowledge and tools needed to safeguard their teams and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Date Rape Drugs (Entry Level & Leaders)

Awareness of date rape drugs is crucial for creating a safe and supportive work environment. Our entry-level course introduces employees to the three most common drugs used in these crimes, their effects on victims, and the profound emotional impact—particularly when the perpetrator is someone the victim knows. When the assailant is a colleague, the trauma can be so severe that returning to work becomes impossible.

The advanced leadership course provides a deeper exploration of these drugs, the motivations of perpetrators, and the complexities of male-on-male rape. It also covers the legal frameworks surrounding employee safety, whether in the workplace, on business trips, or at company events. Participants gain insight into the challenges of prosecuting sexual violence cases, particularly when the drugs used can erase memories of the attack.

These courses are indispensable for company leaders and HR professionals responsible for developing safety policies or managing teams, ensuring they are equipped to handle these sensitive issues with care and competence.
